Gunvant Thakor

A veteran producer, lyricist, and visionary filmmaker, Gunvant Thakor brings over 35 years of pioneering leadership to the music and entertainment industry. Beginning his creative journey at the age of 14 as a songwriter, he laid the groundwork for his entrepreneurial path by founding Studio Laxmi in 1989, followed by the establishment of Jigar Studio in 1995.

Under his leadership, Jigar Studio has grown into an iconic entertainment brand. Over three and a half decades, he has produced 3 feature films, over 500 music albums featuring more than 3,000 individual tracks, as well as a diverse catalog of documentaries, tele-films, and short films. A prolific creative force, he has personally penned over 1,000 songs and authored the screenplays and dialogues for 3 feature films. Today, as Managing Director, he continues to guide the company’s strategic milestones, ethical foundation, and enduring artistic legacy.
